From December 28th to 29th, 2014, the 2014 annual meeting of the Drainage Professional Committee of the China Water Association was held in Harbin. The theme of the meeting was "Innovation, Management and Service". More than 400 people from urban drainage management, sewage treatment, drainage monitoring, and drainage fee collection enterprises and institutions across the country attended the meeting. Wang Zhanjie, secretary-general of the Plastic Pipe Special Committee of the China Plastics Association, also attended the meeting.

The 2014 annual meeting of the Drainage Professional Committee of the China Water Association was held in Harbin on December 28-29, 2014, with the theme of "Innovation, Management, and Service." More than 400 people from urban drainage management, wastewater treatment, drainage monitoring, and drainage fee collection enterprises and institutions across the country attended the meeting. Wang Zhanjie, Secretary-General of the Plastics Pipe Special Committee of the China Plastics Association, also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, leaders from the Urban Construction Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the China Water Association, as well as academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Engineering and industry experts, exchanged views on policies, regulations, technological innovation, customer service management, and regulatory monitoring in drainage and wastewater treatment. They also summarized and deployed the work of the Drainage Committee.
The meeting also commended individuals who won national-level awards in the first "Drainage Cup" National Urban Drainage Industry Skills Competition.
