On the morning of July 29, the 10th "6.18" press conference and plastics pipe industry special docking conference, jointly hosted by the Fujian Provincial Department of Economy and Trade and the 6.18 Organizing Committee, was held in Fuzhou, marking the official launch of the daily project docking work of the 10th "6.18".
Our province is a major producer of plastic pipes. Currently, there are 67 large-scale manufacturers, 4 provincial enterprise technology centers, and 1 provincial engineering technology center. The total annual output of pipes and fittings reaches about 460,000 tons, with an annual output value of about 7.6 billion yuan, ranking fifth in the country. At today's docking conference, the organizing committee promoted 212 technical needs of relevant enterprises in our province and released 392 latest scientific and technological achievements suitable for the functional materials industry in our province from universities and research institutions such as Fuzhou University, Xiamen University, Huaqiao University, Fujian Normal University, Fujian Second Light Industry Research Institute, Fujian Functional Materials Technology Development Base, and Fujian Modified Plastics Technology Development Base.
Lin Xining, Deputy Director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Director of the 6.18 Organizing Committee Office, said that the 10th "6.18" will implement systems for reporting docking project information, joint coordination, and target management, strengthen tracking services for docking projects, provide classified guidance, coordinate and promote, and promote the early start of contract projects and the upgrading of agreement intention projects. A number of "6.18" docking projects with high technological content, strong driving force, and good expected benefits will be selected as key provincial projects to be promoted. At the same time, further highlight the focus of "6.18" special funds support, supporting a number of key docking projects to land and transform.
In addition, we will improve the project docking operation model that combines government leadership with market promotion, and give full play to the role of scientific and technological intermediary service institutions such as industry associations, societies, and industrial organizations in daily docking; improve the organization form of project docking, and organize scientific and technological teams and relevant experts from scientific research institutions to provide door-to-door services to enterprises and grassroots levels according to the needs of enterprise development, and carry out point-to-point docking.
It is understood that the total number of participants and exhibitors at the 9th "6.18", which concluded last month, reached 292,000, with more than 40,000 participating enterprises. 5188 projects were successfully docked, including 3405 contract projects.
