The leakage of oil and gas pipelines will have a serious impact on the surrounding environment and its ecosystem, cause national property damage, threaten human life, and directly affect the safe operation of oil and gas transportation systems. With the continuous improvement of China ’s oil and gas pipeline network, especially the crisscross of oil and gas pipeline networks in oil fields, new detection technologies are urgently needed to obtain higher leak detection sensitivity and leak point location accuracy, and to minimize leakage accident hazards.
Since 2007, the “Pipeline Leak Detection Technology Research” project team has developed a complete set of leak detection technology for oil and gas pipelines and its supporting instruments, infrasound sensors and data acquisition systems. Features: It has been applied to Shengli Oilfield's subsea crude oil pipeline and natural gas pipeline, Zhongyuan Oilfield crude oil gathering pipeline network, and Sinopec Pipeline Storage and Transportation Branch's crude oil long-distance transportation pipeline, respectively.
